[House] First made in 1971, Tignanello celebrates its 50th anniversary with this 2021 vintage. Composed mainly of Sangiovese (80%), plus Cabernet Sauvignon (15%) and Cabernet Franc (5%), aged for around 15 months in oak barrels (60% new). Full of layers of aromas and flavors, it presents red and black fruits accompanied by toasted, floral, balsamic, spicy and mineral notes, all amid vibrant acidity and tense, fine-grained tannins. Full-bodied, intense and, at the same time, vertical and very refined, it has a precise, deep and persistent finish, with touches of cherries, tobacco, licorice, cedar and graphite.
